Tester and Product Writer

Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Tester and Product Writer with strong insurance domain experience in product pricing, rating, and Product Writer testing. This role focuses on validating Product Writer configurations including dictionary, skeleton schemes, RTE, and XRTE, while ensuring accurate testing of rating logic and product modelling within insurance platforms.

What you will do:

• Test Product Writer dictionary, Product Writer configurations, skeleton schemes, RTE, and XRTE.
• Validate rating logic and product modelling within insurance systems.
• Create test scenarios, document test cases, and collect test data for functional testing.
• Verify test environments and perform sanity, functional, and regression testing.
• Manage task assignments, monitor progress, track activities, and manage schedules.
• Manage defects and maintain accurate reporting using JIRA.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technical teams to ensure test coverage and alignment.
• Contribute to SDLC phases including requirements analysis, planning, design, environment setup, execution, and reporting.
• Perform automation testing using Selenium and Java where applicable.

• Experience testing Product Writer including dictionary, skeleton schemes, RTE, and XRTE.
• Strong knowledge of insurance product pricing, rating, and product modelling.
• Solid understanding of SDLC testing practices and documentation.
• Experience using JIRA for test and defect management.
• Knowledge of sanity, functional, and regression testing methodologies.
• Preferred experience with Selenium and Java for automation testing.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and reporting skills.
