The Mission of the Test/QA and Environment Manager

Own end-to-end test quality and environment readiness across the delivery lifecycle, providing clear quality signals and risk visibility for every release. Lead and elevate the QA function through strong engineering practices, effective automation, and close collaboration with operations and release stakeholders.

Outcomes:

• Test execution across projects and releases is consistent, predictable, and delivers clear confidence in product quality.
• Defects are surfaced early, triaged effectively, and resolved in a timely manner, with minimal leakage into production.
• Test environments are stable, ready when needed, and efficiently shared across teams with minimal contention or downtime.
• Testing activities across satellites and operational systems are well-coordinated, reducing integration and release risk.
• The QA team operates with strong technical standards, modern automation practices, and effective tooling.
• Test automation coverage and reliability continuously improve, accelerating feedback cycles and supporting frequent releases.
• Quality risks, defects, and environment issues are escalated early and addressed before impacting delivery timelines.
• Stakeholders have clear, concise, and actionable visibility into quality status, defects, and release risks.

Role-specific Competences

• Minimum 5 years of recent experience as a Test Manager or QA Manager
  (must currently be in a Test/QA Manager role)
• Hands-on technical background in test automation, software development, or engineering-focused QA
• Solid understanding of test environments and release cycles
• Strong communication, presentation, and delivery coordination skills
• Experience operating in CI/CD-driven delivery environments
• Demonstrated knowledge of structured quality and process improvement practices
  (e.g. ISTQB Advanced Test Manager, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent practical experience)
