About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Test Lead to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. As a Test Lead, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating testing efforts for our software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality and reliability of our software. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality products. This role requires 7-10 years of experience in software testing and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, providing guidance and support.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Coordinate testing activities across multiple projects and teams.
- Identify and track defects, working with developers to resolve issues.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that new features do not introduce new defects.
- Automate testing processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define acceptance criteria.
- Monitor and report on testing progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure that testing processes are aligned with industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in software testing.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team of test engineers.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and techniques.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Proficiency in writing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with defect tracking systems such as Jira or Bugzilla.
