Lead testing efforts for the Accounting and Reporting workstream, ensuring a successful transition to the new Oracle Fusion solution and integration with Azure Databricks.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology - Test Lead to lead the testing efforts for our Accounting and Reporting workstream. This role is pivotal in our transition from the current Accounting and Reporting solution to a new Oracle Fusion solution. The successful candidate will oversee the testing of various modules, including Reporting, Chart of Accounts, General Ledger, Accounting Model, IFRS17 and Actuarial, Insurance, Re-insurance, Investment, Payroll, Procurement, Expense Allocation, and Consolidation. Additionally, this role will involve integration with our Azure Databricks Data Repository.
Role and Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for the Accounting and Reporting workstream.
Lead and manage the testing team, ensuring all test activities are completed on time and within budget.
Coordinate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to ensure alignment on testing requirements and objectives.
Oversee the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Ensure thorough testing of all modules, including Reporting, Chart of Accounts, General Ledger, Accounting Model, IFRS17 and Actuarial, Insurance, Re-insurance, Investment, Payroll, Procurement, Expense Allocation, and Consolidation.
Manage the integration testing with Azure Databricks Data Repository.
Identify, document, and track defects and ensure their resolution.
Implement and manage test automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, and Python.
Provide regular updates and reports on testing progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing.
Qualifications
Experience Level: Proven experience in facilitating Agile teams that work on complex technical projects, preferably in data-driven environments
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Technology - Test Lead, preferably in the finance or insurance industry.
Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion and its modules.
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, particularly Selenium, Java, and Python.
Familiarity with Azure Databricks and data integration processes.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred skills
Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
Experience with Oracle Fusion and ideally fundamentals in data engineering : Azure databricks or data factory stack
Experience with Insurance accounting
Familiarity with investment, payroll, procurement, and expense allocation processes.
