Test Engineer

To learn more visit: www.waabi.ai You will... - Work with Waabi engineers to prepare test plans and vehicle systems for test evolutions - Coordinate and execute closed course and on road test plans.  - Generate detailed test reports, documenting vehicle performance. - Curate test schedules and coordinate testing resources. - Collaborate with the operations team to maintain effective and timely communication between drivers, engineers, and additional company stakeholders. - Support the operations team with vehicle system inspections, maintenance, and record-keeping. - Maintain a safe and organized work environment at the facility. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience. - 3 years experience in a test engineering or related autonomous vehicle development role. - Experience with Linux command line and data logging tools. - Python or MATLAB experience for data parsing/analysis. - Experience leading test campaigns at major proving grounds. - Strong communication skills and attention to detail. - Strong working knowledge of vehicle dynamics. - Detailed knowledge of autonomous vehicle hardware and software. - Proficient with systems engineering workflows and requirement V&V. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. - Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. - Ability to travel.  - Open-minded and collaborative team player with the willingness to help others.
