Test Engineer

Help make healthcare work better. At System C we connect health and care with technology that clinicians trust. We’re looking for a Test Engineer who’ll champion quality from day one and help us deliver safe, reliable software at scale across the NHS.

What you’ll do

You’ll plan, design and execute high-quality tests across web applications and services - owning your deliverables through each sprint and release. You’ll maintain clear test documentation (plans, cases, executions, evidence), map coverage via a traceability matrix, and keep our regression packs sharp and up to date. Day to day you’ll:

• Execute functional, end-to-end, exploratory, regression and accessibility testing.
• Log/triage defects in Jira and drive effective resolution.
• Manage suitable test environments and test data, inclusive of Mobile Application testing.
• Contribute to automation (including low/no-code approaches) and continuous improvement of our STLC.
• Collaborate closely in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retros, giving transparent progress updates and raising risks early.

About you

You’re curious, methodical and collaborative - with solid technical grounding across web technologies, SQL databases and test management tools such as Xray for Jira . You understand modern test principles, care about reducing risk and catching defects early, and you’re comfortable communicating with engineers, product and external suppliers. ISTQB Foundation (or equivalent) is welcome. Experience in health, social care or education domains is a bonus.
