  • Owns the qualification process for new development activity.

  • Participates in the preparation, review, and analysis of software requirements and specifications.

  • Clearly communicates project issues and status to management.

  • Reviews and implements test strategies for software products.

  • Maintains proficiency of SQL Server and Microsoft Test Manager.

  • May lead and direct the work of others.

  • Other duties as assigned by management.

  • Ensures compliance with internal policies, procedures and internal controls in accordance with the Sarbanes- Oxley Act 2002 Section 404.

►   Key Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and 5+ years previous experience in testing field or related field required.

  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

  • Experienced in all phases and procedures related to Test Case Management and commonly used concepts, practices and procedures in the testing field required.

  • Ability to effectively communicate business issues and needs at a management level.

  • Demonstrates superior testing skills and ability to understand complex testing cases.

  • Strong experience with designing and implementing test frameworks, tools and libraries.

  • Experience maintaining test automation suite and continuous regression tools.

  • Proven experience developing test strategies for complex software applications.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated ability to succeed in weekly cycles.

  • Ability to participate in code reviews and to evangelize best practices for testability.

  • Ability to conduct research to stay abreast of emerging technologies (new devices and browser sets).

  • Proven track record of providing actionable feedback at design and architectural stages to improve testability.

The salary range for this position is $73,725 - $98,300 / year.
