About the Role
As a Territory Manager - HVAC Sales, you will drive commercial and business excellence by reaching out directly to local authorities, building owners, engineering consultants, contractors and selling through distribution management. This is with the objective of increasing market share of complete Victaulic product line in Malaysia territory.
In addition, you will:
- Prospect and visit Owners, Engineering Offices and Contractors in order to promote the Products/Systems
- Pursue and obtain the acceptance and specification of the Products/System by Owners, Engineering Companies and Contractors
- Ensure the promotion of the Products in the territory by means of seminars, training, technical literature and technical support
- Liaise with the local distributors and ensure the proper information flow is available and maintained
- Visit job sites and follow up of installation process by the contractor. Train the contractor's personnel in usage and installation if required
- Provide reports on activities and marketing information in the territory
- Achievement of sales and market share goals
About You
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Degree in an engineering related field or demonstrated sound technical knowledge through experience is preferred but not required
- Strong experience in sales and marketing
- Is a self-starter, need to be entrepreneurial, be used to home-based work, and able to deliver results in an independent working environment
- Strong communication skills and professional appearance
- Must be proficient in verbal and written English
- Must be willing to travel anywhere within the assigned territory where potential sales opportunity is present
