Position Profile – Territory Manager Southern Caribbean
Base: Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago
Position Objective
Lead the development and sustainable growth of the business across designated Caribbean markets through strategic territory management, early project identification, and technical specification influence.
The role serves as a key driver of market expansion, building strong relationships with stakeholders across the project ecosystem — including pre-engineering, engineering firms, EPCs, contractors, project owners, and distribution partners — ensuring company solutions are positioned from the earliest stages of design and planning.
Territory Scope
The role covers Trinidad & Tobago and selected Caribbean island markets, primarily within the English-speaking Caribbean, including Jamaica.
The territory excludes Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Final country/island coverage will be aligned with business priorities.
Professional Profile
• University degree, preferably in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project environments, technical design, business development, or technical/industrial sales.
• Experience may include either direct commercial roles or technical/engineering backgrounds with a strong orientation toward business development.
• Experience interacting with engineering firms, EPCs, contractors, owners, and/or distributors.
• Demonstrated understanding of the full project lifecycle: design/specification, tendering, execution, and post-sales support.
• Required: prior experience traveling and working across Caribbean islands.
• Preferred: familiarity with the regional construction / project environment.
• Preferred: professional exposure to environments involving coordination or understanding of material movement and supply chain dynamics across island markets.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the territory’s strategic and commercial plan.
• Identify, qualify, and actively manage new project opportunities, expansions, and retrofits.
• Engage stakeholders early in the project lifecycle to influence technical specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering firms and design consultants to position technical solutions.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
• Act as a trusted technical-commercial advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions (installation, modeling, specification).
• Conduct site visits for follow-up, technical support, and inspection.
• Maintain continuous awareness of market trends, project activity, and competitive dynamics.
• Coordinate with internal departments and regional/global teams to maximize business opportunities.
