Teradata and Hadoop Developer

Zone IT Solutions is seeking a Teradata and Hadoop Developer to enhance our data solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing large-scale data processing systems and ensuring data integrity while working with advanced analytics and reporting tools. This position offers the opportunity to engage in exciting projects that leverage both Teradata and Hadoop to drive business insights.

Requirements

• 10+ years' experience as a Analyst or Developer.
• 7+ years of advanced SQL experience and understanding of relational databases.
• 5+ years of experience with Teradata and utilities (BTEQ, TPT, etc).
• 4+ years of experience working on Pyspark, Impala/Hive. 
• Must have a working knowledge of Agile software delivery practices and practical experience as part of a scrum team.
• Advanced Microsoft Office suite software skills with (Excel, Access, SharePoint).
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and planning capabilities.
• Requires exceptional organizational skills, problem solving, attention to detail and timeline management.
• Ability to communicate with both business and technology partners effectively.
• Scheduling software experience with (Autosys).
