Job Summary:

We are looking for a Telematics Officer to oversee the management, monitoring, and optimization of our fleet tracking and telematics systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring real-time tracking of vehicles, analyzing telematics data, improving operational efficiency, and supporting decision-making through data insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the telematics system to ensure accurate and real-time tracking of vehicles.
  • Monitor fleet performance, fuel usage, and driver behavior using telematics data.
  • Generate reports and analyze trends to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve telematics system issues in coordination with vendors and IT teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide training and support to drivers and fleet managers on the use of telematics technology.
  • Assist in the integration of telematics systems with other fleet management solutions.
  • Recommend improvements in fleet operations based on data-driven insights.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, IT, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience in telematics, fleet management, or GPS tracking systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data.
  • Knowledge of telematics software, GPS tracking systems, and fleet management solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data visualization tools, and reporting software.
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

 

    • Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
    • Familiarity with vehicle diagnostics, fuel management, and driver safety systems.
    • Knowledge of compliance regulations related to fleet operations.
