  • Base Salary: $75-90k, based on experience and skillset 
  • Location: USA (must reside in Pacific Standard Time Zone)
  • Work model: Remote/Hybrid (Must be licensed in Washington)
  • Travel Requirements: up to 10% within the US
  • Reports to: Clinical Director of Behavioral Health

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Mental Health Clinician to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role you will provide timely therapeutic services, including crisis intervention, assessments, and counseling, to individuals via secure telehealth platforms. This position is intended for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Therapist seeking flexibility and the ability to work from home.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 2 years of experience in psychotherapy; inclusive of at least one year delivering telehealth services using appropriate remote tools to virtually connect with patients.

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field from an accredited institution
  • Education and supervised clinical training that meet state requirements for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and/or Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMHT)
  • Knowledge and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-focused therapy).

Licensure:

  • Current, active, and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and/or Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMHT) in the state of practice
  • Must be in good standing with the applicable licensing board

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience providing psychotherapy to adult clients
  • Required experience working with adults with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders
  • At least 1 year of experience delivering psychotherapy via telehealth, using secure, HIPAA-compliant remote platforms
  • Experience providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed care to diverse and underserved adult populations
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate care with community-based providers
  • While this position primarily serves adults, comfort and clinical competence in working with adolescents and children is required should program needs arise.

 

Scope of Work:

  • Services to be provided remotely to individuals seeking therapy for mental health disorders and/or co-occurring disorders. Individuals being referred to this service provider will be active patients of an opioid treatment program.
  • Assess and diagnose patients for mental health/ substance use diagnoses using DSM and/or ASAM criteria. This may also involve using standardized testing to complete psychological evaluations and/or mental status examinations.
  • Prepare individualized treatment plans to address mental health or co-occurring disorders of the patient with the input of the patient, relevant providers and patient’s chosen supports.
  • Provides diagnostic, treatment, referral, and crisis intervention services for patients in accordance with standards established by incumbent's professional mental health organizations.
  • Conducts individual psychotherapy for adults.
  • Coordinates service provision to patients and consults with professional colleagues as needed to promote optimal patient care including appropriate referrals for psychiatric evaluation or medication.
  • Participates in interdisciplinary case conferences.
  • Conducts risk assessments and referrals as appropriate.
  • Maintains all appropriate patient records in the Electronic Medical Record according to documentation policies and guidelines.
  • Participates in committee, departmental, and team meetings as relevant and required.
