Telecoms Hosted Voice Field Engineer

TLDR

Focus on Telecom hosted voice installations with support visits and IT installations, providing an excellent opportunity to grow within a leading technology company.

We urgently require a Technical Field Engineer to join our extensive UK & Ireland engineering team.

This role will primarily focus on Telecom hosted voice installations; however, you will also be required to attend Telecom support visits, carry out basic IT installations and attend basic IT support visits when required.

Ideally the successful applicant with live in the greater Belfast area, or in close proximity in order to meet our customer's needs in that wider area.

Full support and any additional product training will be provided on an ongoing basis to develop the new field engineer into a highly skilled and valued member of the engineering team for both telecoms & IT.

The successful candidate will already have good hosted telephony experience & a good understanding of basic LAN connectivity that will be used on a daily basis, as the industry continues to move towards a converged telephony/IT related product set.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their engineer career with a market leading company at the front of an ever-developing technology-based industry.

  • Minimum 12 months’ experience in Hosted telephony solutions installations.
  • A good IT infrastructure understanding.
  • A positive can-do attitude, good communication skills & excellent problem-solving skills.
  • An enthusiasm to learn and grow individual knowledge & skills.
  • A Full driving licence.

Salary: Competitive but based on experience + company car & fuel card + company mobile phone.
