Tele-Sales Representative Location: USA Territory: Remote Schedule: Monday-Friday Our tele-sales Representatives are the face of the rapidly growing team at Downeast Cider, the #1 hard cider in the Northeast and #2 hard cider in the country. Your mission will be to increase the sales and visibility of Downeast Cider with our off-premise retail partners. You’ll be spreading the good unfiltered word about our innovative portfolio of craft hard cider and beyond. We’re committed to developing our people along with our brand. Mission of the Role: Telesales Representatives are responsible for increasing sales throughout a specified territory. They are building relationships, making sales calls, executing our sales process, maintaining accurate records and working through the proper channels at the wholesaler level to ensure these orders are entered What you’ll do: Job Responsibilities: -Conduct phone-based sales outreach across a designated territory. -Strengthen relationships with existing retail partners and establish new customer accounts. -Introduce new products to accounts and drive product trial through effective merchandising (e.g., displays, POS materials). -Identify sales opportunities during each call by asking insightful questions, organizing collections, and focusing on sales growth. Recordkeeping: -Maintain accurate and timely records of all sales activity. -Enter contact information and detailed call notes after each interaction. -Log account updates and activities in the CRM system. Performance Expectations: -Make 40–50 sales calls per day. -Complete 25 sales activity forms daily. -Achieve a minimum of 300 cases sold per month. Who you are: Passionate about craft cider Experience providing superior customer service Excellent oral and written communication skills Self starter who is motivated with strong organizational and time management skills Able to adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple responsibilities effectively Valid driver’s license and vehicle 21 years of age or older to comply with federal and state regulations Must reside in the same area as the covered territory Must-Haves: Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service Proficiency in using a laptop and digital tools At least one year of sales experience (or recent graduate with relevant experience) Background in working as part of a team—professionally, academically, or through extracurriculars Positive, engaging personality Nice-to-Haves: Experience in phone-based sales Familiarity with the alcohol industry Background in consumer packaged goods (CPG) Comfortable navigating CRM software Proficient in Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) Strong communication skills, including a flair for GIFs, memes, and text messaging We know not everyone checks every box. Base Pay Range: $450,000-50,000 (Variable compensation up to 40% of your base salary with quarterly bonus payouts)
