Job Title: Technology Licensing Specialist (Philippines-based)
Job Summary:
The Technology Licensing Specialist is responsible for entering PO requests, license provisioning, deprovisioning, and reporting of software licenses across the company’s tools and systems. This role assists in software license optimization efforts resulting in efficient license utilization. The license specialist will work with their team members in Technology Sourcing and Licensing to maintain accurate records of licenses and collaborate with service desk teams and other technology administrators across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with proactive software licensing purchases and renewals.
- Partner with requestor to obtain valid vendor quotes.
- Create purchase order requisitions.
- Provision and deprovision software licenses based on business needs and employee lifecycle events.
- Provide first-level support related to license access issues and licensing questions.
- Monitor software license utilization and identify underused or unused licenses.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the asset/license management systems.
- Generate regular reports on license usage, costs, and compliance.
- Collaborate with the global technology teams to ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
- Ability to adapt to new process changes with agility and a positive attitude.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, IT asset management, or license administration.
- Strong customer service skills to respond promptly to customer needs.
- Previous experience within an operations or procurement team in a business environment preferred.
- Familiarity with ITSM or asset management tools (e.g. Jira, Ivanti, ServiceNow, Calero, etc.) a plus.
- Previous experience with SaaS license administration platforms for purchasing and inventory management preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills with global teams.
- Familiarity with Application Administration and telemetry a plus.
