The Technology Intern will support Ascension’s Technology team by assisting with real-world projects that span e-commerce, internal systems, data, and digital platforms. This role is designed for a motivated student who is eager to learn how modern technology supports a mission-driven organization. The intern will gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced professionals while contributing to meaningful initiatives that help advance Ascension’s mission.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with technology projects related to e-commerce platforms, internal tools, and digital systems.
- Support documentation efforts, including process diagrams, system notes, and technical guides.
- Help test new features, integrations, or workflows and provide feedback to the team.
- Perform basic data analysis, reporting, or cleanup tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Marketing, Content, Customer Experience) to understand how technology supports the broader organization.
- Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Learn and follow best practices related to security, data privacy, and system reliability.
- Take on special projects aligned with the intern’s interests and the needs of the Technology team.
