Technology Audit and Governance - Assistant Vice President
TLDR
Coordinate internal audits of SOC 2 controls and policy compliance while assisting with SDLC governance and the annual SOC 2 audit preparation.
About the Role
iCapital is looking to hire an Assistant Vice President Technology Audit and Governance Engineer. This role will work closely with the Head of SDLC Governance and Internal Audit and various technology teams in governing the firm-wide SDLC and implementing, governing, and monitoring compliance of varied controls and policies, including providing support for the annual SOC 2 audit. In addition, the ideal candidate will share responsibility for performing administrative functions on Jira including user support.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and perform internal audits of SOC 2 controls and policy compliance.
- Assist with governance of SDLC processes and associated tool configurations.
- Create and maintain documentation for processes followed and tools used.
- Develop, implement, and maintain SGIA processes.
- Support the annual SOC 2 audit.
- Assist with the administration of Jira and provide user support.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of technology operations experience
- Familiar with modern programming languages and frameworks, preferably Python.
- Technical leadership and management experience is a plus
- Familiar with cloud-based technologies (i.e. AWS, K8s, etc.)
- Able to work independently or as part of a team effort, as required
- Experience with Python Scripting, GitLab, Git, Jira Administration, Vanta or other compliance monitoring tools, SOC 2 audits, controls testing or auditing, the automation of processes and SQL or MongoDB Query language
- Solid problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $155,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
