Vos tâches en un coup d’œil     
  • Vous prenez des mesures préopératoires et postopératoires tout en fournissant des explications claires aux patients tout au long du processus.
  • Vous révisez les cartes d'imageries obtenues pour en assurer l'exactitude.
  • Vous possédez les connaissances concernant les procédures et technologies offertes dans la clinique.
  • Vous offrez un service à la clientèle et des soins aux patients exceptionnels.
Une vue claire de vos atouts     
  • Vous avez une formation d’opticien réussie (certification non nécessaire), COT ou COMT certifiée par la JCAHPO, ou un baccalauréat en sciences.
  • Votre expérience dans le domaine de l’optique est considérée comme un atout. 
  • Vous êtes motivé d’apprendre à utiliser divers outils de diagnostic et de test.
  • Vous êtes à l'aise avec les outils informatiques, la technologie et Microsoft 365 (la connaissance des systèmes de DME est un atout). 
  • Vous avez d'excellentes aptitudes en communication, vous parlez français et maîtrisez l'anglais de niveau intermédiaire avancé en raison de la nature des tâches ou d'interactions avec nos patients anglophones.
  • Horaire: Vous êtes disponible pour travailler du lundi au vendredi (8h00-17h00), ainsi que les samedis en rotation (1 samedi sur 3). 
  • Important : Vous êtes disponible pour vous déplacer et soutenir notre clinique à  Pointe-Claire lorsque nécessaire.

Your tasks at a glance     
  • You complete preoperative and postoperative measurements, offering clear explanations to patients throughout the process.
  • You review imaging maps to validate their accuracy.
  • You are knowledgeable about procedures and technologies available in the clinic.
  • You provide outstanding customer service and patient care.
  • You support the organization’s Risk Management program by identifying and promptly reporting patient safety concerns, incidents, or potential risks to clinic management, to assist in the organization’s overall efforts to identify, report, and mitigate risks.
 A clear view of your assets     
  • You are a graduate of a Bachelor's program in science (Bsc), an Opticianry program (license not required), a Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT), or a Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist (COMT).
  • You are comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).
  • You are motivated to learn how to use various diagnostic and testing tools. 
  • Your experience in an eye-care environment is an asset.
  • Schedule: You have flexible availability on Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays.
