Technician

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a skilled and proactive Technician to join their team. This role involves carrying out maintenance, repair, and installation tasks with a strong focus on plumbing systems, while ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will play a key part in upholding high service standards, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate work information to superiors

• Manage general maintenance repairs

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fittings, fixtures, and drainage systems

• Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing problems, providing effective solutions to ensure minimal disruption

• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects

• Respond to requests from superiors and maintenance services in a timely and professional manner

• Performs periodic inspections at the Project to identify potential technical problems

• Check the exterior and interior areas of the common areas of the residences on a regular basis for any potential dangers/ issues

• Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and clients to plan and execute different projects.

• Ensures that all related reports are completed on a timely basis

• Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks

• Identify and report the need for major repairs

• Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with completed work.

• Supervises the work performed with regards to quality, cost, time and follow up based on the agreements with the subcontractors

• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time, materials used, and any issues encountered.

• Comply and promote the Health, Safety and Environmental policy of the Project based on the all applicable laws and regulations.

• Comply with the policies and procedures of the company

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in plumbing is preferred.

• Proven previous experience as technician

• Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment.

• Problem-solving skills

• Strong administration skills-organized, thorough, systems oriented with meticulous attention to detail

• Professional integrity

• Ability to work under pressure, and to work independently and as part of a team.
