Technician

Your role will include the regular stuff, like performing scheduled maintenance and repair work on overhead cranes around, but you also get to challenge yourself on breakdowns where your troubleshooting skills and technical skills will really come into play. This role will involve regular travel to the Devonport location, where in addition to your generous hourly rate you will receive a generous Living Away From Home Allowance

To be successful, you must be a team player with attention to detail. You will be safety focused, methodical in your approach and have confidence in speaking with customers about their business and your findings. Working at heights is also a must! 

• Have a valid Electrical Licence or Mechanical Trade Certificate & Restricted Electrical Licence.
• Current and valid Driver Licence.
• Working at Heights competency.
• Elevated work Platform Ticket.
• Broad knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and awareness of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards
• Ability to work with computer programs: - Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrates a high degree of organisational ability.
• Systematic problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication skills
