POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced Cable Sweep Test Technician to support a 6–8 month project in Knoxville and Oak Ridge, TN. The technician will be responsible for performing sweep testing on over 720 cables, identifying and replacing cable connectors as necessary to ensure passing results. This role requires hands-on experience with Anritsu sweep gear, JMA connectors, and JMA tools, as well as a strong commitment to safety standards.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-certified, and able to work independently in the field. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our cable infrastructure to meet project and client requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform sweep testing on 720+ cables.
• Replace cable connectors as needed to ensure cables pass testing standards.
• Ensure all work meets project and industry quality standards.

 REQUIREMENTS:

• Hands-on experience with Anritsu sweep gear.
• Knowledge and proficiency with JMA connectors and JMA tools.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve cable-related issues efficiently.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION:

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification (required).
• Scissor lift certification and ability to use lift harness.
• Full PPE gear (Personal Protective Equipment) required on-site.
• Must pass drug testing and complete on-site training
