Technician 2, Production Test

We are looking for a skilled and experienced PCB Debug Technician to join our team. As a PCB Debug Technician, your main responsibility will be to identify and rectify issues in printed circuit boards (PCBs) to ensure their proper functionality and adherence to design specifications. You will be solely focused on debugging PCBs and testing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• PCB Debugging; Conduct thorough inspections and tests of PCBs to identify electrical, mechanical, or design issues that may affect their functionality.
• Troubleshooting; Analyze and isolate problems within the PCB circuitry and components, utilizing various testing equipment and tools.
• Fault Diagnosis; Diagnose and interpret error reports or test results to pinpoint the root cause of PCB failures and malfunctions.

REQUIRED: 

• Diploma related Electronics, Electrical and Computer Technology
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience working in an area of their specialty or related field
• Willing to work in 12 hours rotation shift
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

PREFERRED:

• With Previous experience related Electronic industry. SDD/HDD related experience is advantage
• Fresh Graduates are also encourage to apply this position

• Computer-minded individuals with an attention to detail and who love working with their hands can make successful electronic technicians. In addition to a two-year Diploma, employers seek professionals who possess the following abilities:
• Mechanical Skills ; From reading wiring diagrams and schematics to using soldering equipment, electronic technicians possess a mechanical aptitude.
• Computer Proficiency – Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office applications, software installation, and programming is essential for this position.
• Problem-Solving ; It often takes several steps to diagnose a problem with an electronic component, so these technicians are versed in how to identify and provide solutions to electronic equipment issues and breakdowns.
• Communication Skills ; From submitting various reports to speaking with engineers, project managers, programmers and other technicians, strong oral and written communication skills are crucial.
• Eye-hand Coordination ; As they often work with small parts, such as circuits and wires, electronic technicians possess proficient eye-hand coordination to repair and install these components.
• Organizational Skills ; From keeping testing equipment in good working condition to maintaining accurate records and manuals, electronic technicians exhibit above-average organizational skills.
