Technician 2, Process

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform programming and troubleshooting of SMT lines. SPI /AOI inspection systems and other designed manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and fine-tune programs to improve accuracy and productivity.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Equipment, QA and Operations team) to resolve issues.
• Minimize product changeover duration and process fine-tuning requirements.
• Maintain production runs at optimal yield levels.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

REQUIRED:

• Diploma related Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical and Computer Technology
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience working in an area of their specialty or related field
• Willing to work in 12 hours rotation shift
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

PREFERRED:

• Hands-on experience with FUJI NXT Pick and Place machines
• Familiar with AOI programming (Koh Young)

SKILLS:

• Basic knowledge of electronics components and PCB assembly
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Able to work on rotating shifts and perform overtime if required
