Technician 2, Manufacturing Equipment (SMT, Flip Chip & Underfill)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Responsible for improving and sustain engineering portion and meet the KPI (Availability, OEE, Maintain UPH and Yield).
• Operate and monitor SMT equipment, including pick-and-place machines, Datacon 8800, Underfill, reflow ovens, solder paste printers, and AOI systems.
• Support line setup, product changeovers, and line optimization activities.
• Perform line troubleshooting and supporting daily production operation.
• Analyze engineering failure root causes and propose corrective actions.
• Ability to identify root cause and provide corrective action through use of effective problem-solving tools.
• Perform Preventive and Corrective Maintenance.
• Propose improvements to enhance engineering performance and reliability.
• Support overall setup, relocation and retirement of system.
• Asst Engineer in continuous improvement projects.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• This role requires reliable presence to support operational and team objectives. Employees are expected to maintain regular attendance aligned with the company’s work schedule.

REQUIRED:

• Diploma, Major in Mechanical Engineering will be preferred. 

PREFERRED:

• Minimum 1 years working experience in semiconductor manufacturing and familiar with maintenance and troubleshooting of SMT Equipment (NXT, Datacon, Underfill, Reflow, Solder Paste Printer, AOI)
• Familiar with Mechanical equipment and process, Familiar with machine trouble shooting and alarm handling.
• Responsible for shift machine status checking and conversion.
• Good sense and follow up on quality issue and project. 
• Experience on machine and tooling Preventive Maintenance.
• Have the ability for report generation, focus on machine alarm analysis and trouble shooting.

Skills:

• Good interpersonal and communication skill.
• Able to communicate and write in English. 
• Familiar with office software: Microsoft Word/excel/ Power point.
• Familiar with Root Cause Analysis.
