Technician 2, Manufacturing Equipment (SMT & Assembly)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Shift support for continuous production line and ensure equipment in good performance to meet the goals on equipment uptime, yield, and cost, utilization and cycle time.
• Support the production report the online machine status and issue to EE Leader and Engineer.
• Perform line conversion and complete FAI.
• Able to handle SMT and MA machines (NXT, DEK, BTU, AOI, Asymtek, V510, VCO, RBM, Mechanical Jig/Equipment).
• Support tech team to meet the goals on Machine Down time; Utilization; to improve MTBA / MTBF.
• Support Engineer for project follow up.
• Project improvement submission.
• Give training Operator about machine operation and to improve their working skill.
• Spare parts hand out; replacement; and make good record for tracking.
• This role requires reliable presence to support operational and team objectives. Employees are expected to maintain regular attendance aligned with the company’s work schedule.

REQUIRED:

• Diploma, Major in Mechanical Engineering will be preferred. 

PREFERRED:

• Minimum 1 years working experience in semiconductor manufacturing and familiar with maintenance and troubleshooting of SMT and MA Equipment (NXT, DEK, BTU, AOI, Asymtek, V510, VCO, RBM, Manual Assembly Jig/Equipment).
• Familiar with Mechanical equipment and process, Familiar with machine trouble shooting and alarm handling.
• Responsible for shift machine status checking and conversion.
• Good sense and follow up on quality issue and project. 
• Experience on machine and tooling Preventive Maintenance.
• Have the ability for report generation, focus on machine alarm analysis and trouble shooting.

SKILLS:

• Good interpersonal and communication skill.
• Able to communicate and write in English. 
• Familiar with office software: Microsoft Word/excel/ Power point.
• Familiar with Root Cause Analysis.
