Technical Writer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to join our team in supporting government cloud infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in documentation and development as part of a large enterprise, as well as strong experience with a variety of IT and documentation frameworks.  

As a Technical Writer, you will: 

• Develop and maintain documentation for enterprise IT infrastructure, security policies, and operational procedures. 

• Create SOPs for data center management, system patching, compliance enforcement, and disaster recovery. 

• Document change, configuration, and problem management workflows. 

• Develop end-user guides for automation tools such as Ansible and Morpheus Data. 

• Maintain version-controlled repositories for infrastructure documentation. 

• Support IT Lab knowledge base and training materials for new technologies. 

• Ensure documentation aligns with federal compliance standards and industry best practices. 

Requirements

• Excellent technical writing and documentation skills. 

• Experience with IT documentation frameworks. 

• Knowledge of Red Hat Satellite Server, Ansible, Morpheus Data. 

• Familiarity with compliance requirements (NIST, FISMA). 

• 2+ years of experience in similar roles 

• US Citizenship Required
