Technical Training & Content Development Intern

Description:

We are seeking a Technical Training & Content Development Intern for Summer 2025 to help develop engaging, high-quality instructional content for our suite of software tools. This role will focus on creating training videos, tutorials, and documentation that enhance the user experience and reduce customer support burden.

The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with an interest in user interface and experience, technical content development, and digital learning. You will work closely with product management, software engineering, and customer support teams to build training resources that help customers maximize their proficiency with Alamar’s software tools.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer support trends to identify training needs.
• Develop step-by-step training videos and "how-to" guides for Alamar software.
• Collaborate with product management and customer support teams to align on training need and content.
• Assist in developing best practices for maintaining the video knowledge base. 

Required Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline.  
• Experience or willingness to learn and work with video editing software and screen recording tools.
• Basic understanding of software usability and user experience (UX) principles.
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Strong communication skills to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.

The hourly pay range for this position is $20 - 30/ hour. Work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training determine our salary ranges. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
