As a Technical Training Specialist you will create, coordinate, and manage all training related activities for internal and external parties. Our DCS Department is providing UPS Solutions for Data Center all over the EMEA Market.
You will be taking part in onboarding new employees, customers and service partners, as well as ensuring our service organization is kept up to date with knowledge related to new products, procedures and services. We offer training in various formats such as classroom, webinars and online portal. The target audience is mainly B2B professionals at different levels, and in different roles. Some travelling will be needed.
Responsibilities and tasks

  • Plan, organize and host training sessions in our Training Center in Germany
  • Develop and maintain training content for new and existing products.
  • Develop and maintain online training portal (“Academy”)
  • Collect and store training records, issued certificates and manage the recertification process.
  • Arrange newcomer onboard training program and training paths
  • Maintain team member skill matrix and development training plan.
  • Analyze various support channels for identification of new training topics.
  • Occasional international Field Service travelling
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in electrical engineering or relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in a technical training or similar role
  • Experience with training portal management and content development.
  • Experience with technical products (HW and/or SW)
  • Experience with, and understanding of, complex electrical systems.
  • Ability to create content (video, photo, presentations, and documentation)
  • Experienced in cross functional team collaboration
  • Familiar/skilled in typical content creation tools such as InDesign, HTML5, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or similar tools (MS Windows Based).
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German. Another European language will be considered a plus.
