Job Title: Technical Tester – Test Automation

Job Description:
As a technical tester with focus on test automation, you will play a central role in ensuring the quality of our new
savings platform. You will work within an agile test team in the SI6 Program and focus on developing and
implementing test automation. The role involves being involved in the entire process, from design to scripting,
executing and reporting results and defects. You will be working closely with your colleagues in the test team to
develop and expand the platforms automated test suites. You will also be part of the work defining our strategies
for testing and test automation, ensuring that our customers receive a world-class customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using our two frameworks o Playwright (Typescript) for automating UI. We are also using it to automate a couple of APIs.
o Selenium (Java) framework for automating UI, Validating the files, report from FTP locations and UI portal.
o Postman (or Insomnia) and Swagger to run the APIs whenever needed.
o We are automating some APIs in Playwright.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and deployment.
o Bank uses Openshift for CI/CD activities. The infrastructure is handled by a dedicated team. You will be required to create openshift namespaces, Jenkins files etc. for our automation projects.
• Ensure all tests align with security and compliance regulations.
Technical Skills & Experience
• 6+ years of experience in test automation and software quality assurance.
• Hands-on Experience in Automation Testing Frameworks Such As
o Playwright, Selenium, (UI automation)
o Postman and Swagger (API testing)
o P in Java, JavaScript for writing automated tests.
o Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch.
o Strong understanding of microservices architecture and its testing challenges.
o Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
o Knowledge of frontend testing (React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
o Experience in SQL and relational database testing.
