Technical Support Engineer (Networking Solutions)

TLDR

Work closely with internal teams and clients to resolve complex networking challenges while supporting the integration of advanced networking technologies.

We are looking for a Networking and IoT Engineer to join our team in Mexico City, Mexico. In this role, you will work closely with internal teams and clients to provide technical expertise, resolve complex networking challenges, and support the integration of Teltonika Networks products into customer solutions.

Teltonika’s networking solutions business unit develops and manufactures industrial and enterprise connectivity equipment, primarily routers, switches, gateways, and modems. Our networking devices serve clients in the most complex areas of Industry 4.0, Smart City, and Green Energy.

In this role, you will:

  • Attend pre-sales and post-sales in-person or remote communication with local market customers.
  • Self-sufficiently resolve technical issues arising from customer's configuration, firmware/software, other sources.
  • Act as a key link between Teltonika Networks R&D/HQ and customers, facilitating the resolution of complex technical challenges.
  • Work with Linux-based OS, industrial protocols, various networking services and protocols, and occasional 3rd-party peripherals.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees and clients on our products and solutions.

Requirements

  • Good communication skills, etiquette, ability and desire to help others.
  • Knowledge of Computer Networking, basics of telecommunication systems, and technologies.
  • Fluent in the English language.
  • Higher or equivalent technical / engineering education.
  • Experience working with routers is an asset.
  • Capability of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in CCNA or similar courses would be considered an advantage.
  • Experience in technical support would be considered an advantage.
