Technical Services Representative

TLDR

Deliver tailored aircraft services and implementation support to WinAir clients, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational optimization.

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the Technical Services Representative is responsible for delivering a combination of aircraft services and implementation support to WinAir clients. This includes aircraft template building, maintenance schedule configuration, compliance parameter setup, system configuration, data migration, and go-live support. The role ensures that customer environments are configured accurately, meet regulatory requirements, and are optimized for operational use.

In addition to core responsibilities, the Technical Services Representative may be required to perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the department and organization.

Responsibilities

Technical Responsibilities

  • Build and configure aircraft maintenance templates and associated compliance data within WinAir.
  • Ensure configuration accuracy to meet aviation regulatory standards (Transport Canada, FAA, EASA, etc.).
  • Assist with system configuration and customization for new client implementations.
  • Perform data migration activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and data integrity.
  • Support system testing to confirm readiness before go-live.
  • Maintain accurate service delivery documentation and configuration records.
  • Collaborate with Product, Support, and Development teams to address configuration and implementation challenges.

Service Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with customers to gather requirements and deliver tailored configuration solutions.
  • Provide go-live and post-implementation support to ensure successful adoption.
  • Support ongoing managed service contracts, providing configuration and data management as required.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery processes and tools.

Education & Experience

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in Aviation Technology, Aircraft Maintenance, Information Systems, or a related field is considered an asset, but not required.
  • A strong willingness to learn, high attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential for success in this role.
  • Exposure to aviation maintenance workflows or regulatory environments (e.g., Transport Canada, FAA, EASA) is beneficial but not required.
  • Experience with software implementation, system configuration, or data migration is considered an asset.
