The Opportunity
We are recruiting a Technical Services Leader to join the Operations Leadership Team and grow with us at EDPRO. In collaboration with the Team, the Technical Services Leader will establish and lead the execution of programs that deliver efficient, responsive, high quality, customer focused technical services to EDPRO customers across bulk, cylinder and fleet sectors.
Core Responsibilities
- Ensure that decisions such as those for staffing, organization, processes and capital expenditures are executed in accordance with the business plan and Company vision.
- Develop and implement performance measures and tracking systems for the technical services group with the goal of continuous improvement of quality and efficiency.
- Lead a team of Service Technicians, Cylinder Customer Support Representatives, and Service Coordinators to positively differentiate EDPRO through outstanding technical and customer service, with an absolute commitment to safety and technical compliance.
- Lead recruiting effort as required to fill approved staffing positions, including orientation and training.
- Organize and execute continuous learning and skills development for Technical Services personnel.
- Triage technical service requirements to ensure customer needs and expectations are addressed in a timely and efficient manner utilizing internal and external resources.
- Manage purchasing and inventory functions for field utilization of materials and equipment.
- Oversee tank and cylinder inventories and refurbishing programs.
- Ensure regulatory and company periodic compliance requirements applicable to Company service vehicles, equipment, and employees are met.
- Participate in on-call rotation with others in Leadership Group to ensure urgent after-hour issues across all sectors are addressed.

- Familiarity with propane and/or HVAC industry would be an asset.
