Technical Sales Manager C&I Storage - Nordics

TLDR

You will support sales activities for Sungrow’s C&I Storage products, providing technical expertise to customers and leading integration with project partners in the Nordic Region.

Your mission

As a Technical Sales Manager C&I Storage Nordic region you will work as a member of technical  sales department and you will be responsible to support the sales activities related to Sungrow’s C&I Storage products and business activities in the Nordic Region.

Your tasks
  • Provide detailed technical product knowhow to customers and partners during meetings, trainings and webinars. 
  • Prepare technical proposals during the offering process and follow up during the whole process until contract closing from technical perspective.
  • Prepare technical documentation for tenders and project enquiries.
  • Develop technical solutions and proposals and convince customers of Sungrow products for their specific projects and needs.
  • Take ownership and drive listings of Sungrow products at grid operators, technical authorities or regulatory offices.
  • Proofread sales contracts and documents from technical perspective. 
  • Work closely with project partners, e.g. EMS suppliers, and drive the integration of their products into the project system.
  • Monitor and report of competitor’s new products and technical solutions and inform management and colleagues.
  • Be able to learn, understand and teach ESS technical specification and requirements by grid operators, other regulatory bodies and technical standards. 
  • Attend national and international fairs and congresses and customer meetings on frequent basis.



Your profile

All right, all right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background should you have in order to feel comfortable with this role? Keep in mind it`s all about electrical equipment, that`s why it is essential for you to have:

  • Electric technical university degree or higher electric technical education
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the battery energy storage industry and related technical sales or product management
  • Professional and customer-friendly appearance
  • Ability to convince customers of Sungrow’s products
  • Ability and willingness to make business travels up to 3 or 4 days in a week
  • Perfect knowledge of English and a Nordic language (at least C1), Chinese will be a plus
