We are searching for a Technical Sales Engineer to grow our Energy Infrastructure business in Europe, focused on Energy Storage System applications across commercial, industrial, and utility-scale applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with sales team to support the sales process by providing technical expertise and product knowledge to specific clients in the account or industry.
  • Understanding the client's requirements and pain points to propose products or solutions that address client needs.
  • Collaborating with sellers to develop technical proposals, respond to RFPs, and negotiate terms and conditions from a technical perspective through hands-on, customized, experiential selling.
  • Providing deep products and solutions knowledge with industry know-how, working with marketing team to provide technical simulation demonstrating Delta’s capabilities in specific business scenarios.
  • Supporting customer relationship management and driving deal closure by demonstrating product value and feasibility and building deep technical value as trusted advisor to clients.
  • Bridging technical requirements from customers with solution management and development team for short-term fix or long-term enhancement of the solution.
  • Supporting site survey of customer projects along with technical team, partners, and customers.
  • Monitoring local grid codes, legislation, standards, market trends and identifying new market opportunities.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, power system engineering, or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience with Energy Storage Systems and excellent technical knowledge of Energy Storage Systems and system integration.
  • Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
  • Installation experience / certificate to work in 1000VAC and 1500VDC is an advantage.
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to specify customer requirements to the business development manager, solution management, and development team.
  • Capable of self-management the daily tasks with the ability to work independently as well as part of an international team.
  • Customer focus, good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to travel occasionally and holding a driving license.
