The Technical Sales Engineer (TSE) – Latin America is responsible for the market development, sales, and after-sale service support for Blue Cube sensors in Mexico, Central America, and South America.


About Blue Cube  

As part of Draslovka, Blue Cube design, manufacture, distribute and support a range of mineral analyzers that assist with real-time measurement of composition in dry, high temperature, solution and slurry process streams. Our proven expertise with bold innovation enables us to create advanced sensor technology for the mining industry.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Analyzer Expertise:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the technical intricacies and features of Blue Cube analyzers and its use in mineral processing applications.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to provide informed insights to clients and the other sales personnel in Blue Cube / Draslovka.
  • Attend conferences, lectures, seminars, and workshops to improve skills and knowledge.

Client Engagement:

  • Engage with clients in the mineral processing sector to understand their specific technical requirements, challenges, and operational goals.
  • Translate technical details into compelling sales messages, customizing presentations to showcase how the online analyzer addresses their unique needs.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with existing clients and meet with new clients to expand sales territories.
  • Act as liaison between English-speaking team members and client, providing translations at meetings, of emails, and other written documentation.

Sales Collaboration:

  • Identify and qualify leads, providing technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations and product feasibility demonstrations, emphasizing the capabilities and benefits of the online analyzer in the context of mineral processing.
  • Produce quotations, compelling written proposals, and complete tender submissions
  • Update orders and sales and negotiate the best contract terms.

Product Improvements:

  • Conduct market research and obtain feedback from clients to improve existing products.
  • Liaise with the product development and support teams to propose and implement solutions based on client requirements.
  • Write reports and liaise with the production team regarding issues, foreseeable problems, and effective solutions.

Post-Sales Technical Support:

  • Act as a liaison between clients and the technical support team, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to implementation.
  • Address any post-sales technical issues and work toward swift resolutions.

Technical Documentation:

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including manuals, specifications, and application guides.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., engineering, minerals processing, metallurgy).

Knowledge Requirements:

  • Proven experience in technical sales, particularly in the context of mineral processing equipment or instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools
  • Fluent spoken/written Spanish & English
  • Additional fluency in Portuguese preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years related experience
  • Experience of working on mineral beneficiation plants
