About the Role

Grio is looking for a fully remote, full-time, Technical Sales & Business Development Manager to join our team! The Sales & BD Manager will be a key member of our team - driving strategic account development while also focusing on new business development. As a Sales & Business Development Manager for Grio, you will:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue and growth objectives and close deals with new and existing clients.
  • Serve as a strategic partner and sales leader in providing effective Pre Sales consultation to clients.
  • Interact in a positive way with a wide variety of clients, as well as fellow employees, management, and office personnel, consistently driving a great customer experience and positive team environment within the workplace.

Compensation for this role is a hybrid of base plus commission.

Requirements

About You

We are seeking someone who has a history of success in identifying, pursuing and closing new business opportunities. In this role, you will collaborate with customers to craft custom solutions to their complex project needs. Ideally, you have:

  • 5+ years of experience with a web & mobile software design agency that created custom products, developing new sales opportunities within existing accounts while also sourcing new sales opportunities through lead follow-up and daily prospecting.
  • Must be familiar with and have a basic understanding of SDLC.
  • Bid and proposal experience with local, state, or federal government agencies is a plus.
  • Willingness to research and travel for trade shows and attend client meetings, approximately once quarterly.
  • Familiarity with current best practices in modern web and mobile design and development.
  • Excellent skills in multi tasking, organizing, and prioritizing.
