As a Federal Recruiter, your responsibilities would include (but not limited to):

Responsibilities:

  • Actively identify and screen cleared individuals for opportunities with DoD and Intelligence, and other Federal agencies
  • Build relationships with Program Managers, Business Development, People Department, and across business functions
  • Identify passive candidates and develop/manage sourcing strategies that address strategic business needs/goals
  • Be a strategic advisor and provide subject matter expertise regarding the market, competitive landscape, compensation, candidate expectations, onboarding and integration challenges
  • Managing and supporting our ATS system, including generating and posting job requisitions, managing candidate pipeline and workflows within the system, consult with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives, evaluate and screen candidates, perform candidate management, facilitating candidate interview feedback sessions, and recommending best practices to support more efficient and effective hiring practices.
  • Conduct phone, virtual and/or in-person interviews
  • Provide a shortlist of qualified candidates to hiring managers & company leadership
  • Help the hiring team with recruiting methods and interview questions
  • Contact new employees and support new hire onboarding activities
  • Support other assigned functions as necessary

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of prior full-desk technical recruiting experience within a Federal Contractor providing cleared candidates to Federal engagements (experience with Defense/DoD industry is a plus)
  • Demonstrated experience in candidate management through an applicant tracking system with strong attention to detail
  • 3+ years of recruiting experience with complex and time-sensitive search initiatives, requiring a disciplined approach to delivering qualified talent with urgency
  • The ability to deal with shifting priorities and demands with calmness and to proactively engage with a virtual team to ensure we work smart as well as hard
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, in particular with respect to professional emails to clients and candidates, as well as demonstrated ability to articulate client capabilities against requirements in a structured screening document
  • Expert understanding of Boolean searching
  • Must be self-driven and able to think big picture and strategically
  • Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and time constraints

 Education:

  • Minimum of an Associates Degree required (Bachelor's in HR-related field preferred)
