About the Role: 

We are looking for a temporary / contract technical recruiter to join the growing AlphaSense Talent Acquisition team as a partner to our growing Research & Development org. The primary responsibility of this role will be to support our product, engineering, and design teams in hiring key roles across our AI Platform, AI Research, and Content teams.  While this is a temporary position for a duration of three to six months, there may be opportunities for an extended contract or conversion to a permanent role based on business needs and exceptional performance. An ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing, screening, and closing product & software development professionals, ideally at top-tier tech companies. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and TA leadership to identify and understand the product, engineering, and design hiring needs at AlphaSense. 
  • Learn the AlphaSense TA tools (Greenhouse, LinkedIn, TalentWall, HackerRank, Workday, etc.) and maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other relevant systems. 
  • Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and direct sourcing, to identify potential candidates.
  • Conduct thorough screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit for the team. 
  • Provide recommendations and shortlist qualified candidates to hiring managers for further evaluation.
  • In partnership with our TA coordinator, coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and timely recruitment process.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to TA leadership and hiring managers regarding the progress of the recruitment process.
  • Partner with hiring managers to negotiate compensation packages and present and close candidates’ offers. 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment process.

Who You Are:

  • Proven experience as a full-cycle tech recruiter, ideally at a top-tier SaaS company. 
  • Strong knowledge of product, engineering, and design roles, industry trends, and relevant qualifications.
  • Familiarity with New York's tech job market is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively source, screen, and attract top-tier R&D professionals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage and build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Proficient in using Greenhouse, LinkedIn, and other recruitment tools.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

Compensation Range*: $50 - $70 per hour 

*For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all US-based roles based on function, level and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
