Technical Project Manager

TLDR

Lead complex site execution and operational management projects in the innovative waste-to-X technology sector, transforming waste into valuable resources.

  • Erection & Site Execution Management: Plan and optimise erection concepts, sequences, schedules, site infrastructure, large equipment usage, and Europe‑wide site/service execution; monitor progress against plans and reports.
  • Operational & Financial Control: Manage day‑to‑day operations and development of KVI‑PL, optimise business processes, support financial planning, forecasting, cashflow, and site campaign financial performance.
  • Resource, Logistics & IT Management: Plan workforce deployment (HQ, sites, services), handle site/service logistics (accommodation, transport, permits, tools, materials), and manage IT equipment, software, and user access.
  • Procurement, Contracts & Supplier Management: Prepare erection offers and calculations, negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors, draft and settle subcontractor contracts, and control quality, quantity, and expediting of purchased goods and equipment.
  • HSE, Compliance & Leadership: Supervise HSE requirements, statistics, training, working conditions, and the Integrated Management System; represent the company in meetings and negotiations; lead and grow a department while solving complex, multi‑dimensional problems.
  • Education & Industry Background: Degree in civil/structural/building engineering or equivalent experience, with several years in large industrial plant construction (Energy from Waste or similar) as Site Engineer, Site Manager, or Commissioning Supervisor.
  • Construction, Contracts & HSEQ Expertise: Proven experience in contract coordination and management, leadership of HSEQ systems, knowledge of legal and management system requirements, and valid SCC (or equivalent); Chartered Engineer status is an advantage.
  • Leadership & Problem‑Solving Skills: Confident, assertive leader with hands‑on mentality, excellent motivational and communication skills, capable of analysing complex situations, evaluating ideas, and delivering practical, solution‑oriented outcomes.
  • Planning, Organisation & Negotiation: Strong forward planner with structured, analytical working style, organisational strength, result orientation, and proven negotiation and presentation skills in international environments.
  • Languages, IT & Mobility: A good command of English and/or German, Fluency in Polish, confident MS Office user, and high flexibility for international travel and extended site assignments across Europe.
