Summary/Objective  

We are seeking an entry-level Technical Project Manager to support the delivery of enterprise Microsoft security solutions, including Purview, Defender, Entra ID, Sentinel, Intune, and Copilot implementations. In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, develop standardized project templates, manage deliverables, and build a centralized knowledge repository while working alongside security consultants and technical architects. This is an ideal opportunity for a Computer Science, Engineering, or IT Management student to gain hands-on experience in technical project management within a fast-paced consulting environment and launch a career in enterprise security solutions.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Project Coordination Support: Assist in coordinating and managing cross-functional teams executing Microsoft security deployment projects, including Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Copilot implementations, ensuring timely communication and task completion across project phases. 
  • Template Development and Standardization: Create and maintain reusable project templates, including project plans, status reports, and deliverable frameworks, to drive consistency and efficiency across multiple concurrent client engagements. 
  • Knowledge Management: Organize, document, and manage knowledge materials, best practices, and lessons learned from security deployment projects to build a centralized repository that supports consultant effectiveness and accelerates project delivery. 
  • Sales Material Development: Support the creation and organization of sales proposals, presentation materials, and client-facing documentation that articulate technical capabilities and project approaches for Microsoft security solutions. 
  • Project Plan Management: Assist in developing, tracking, and maintaining detailed project plans, timelines, and milestone tracking for security deployment engagements, coordinating with security consultants and technical architects to ensure accurate scope and schedule management. 
  • Deliverable Coordination: Organize and manage paper-based deliverables produced by consulting teams, ensuring quality standards, proper formatting, timely review cycles, and alignment with client expectations and project requirements. 
  • Punctuality and timely attendance to external client and internal stakeholder needs.

Work Environment  

This job operates in a professional office environment, and all co-ops are expected to work in the office every day. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work  

This is a full-time position with 40 working hours expected weekly. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Required Education and Experience  

  • Punctuality and timely attendance to external client and internal stakeholder needs. 

 

Academic Background 

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or IT Management 
  • Maintained good academic standing with demonstrated interest in technology project management, information security, or business technology 

Core Competencies 

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities with attention to detail in documentation and professional correspondence 
  • Organizational Capabilities: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain organized workflows in fast-paced environments 
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfort with technology platforms and eagerness to learn Microsoft security technologies and project management methodologies 
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in team environments and coordinate across different functional roles 

  

Preferred Qualifications and Experience  

  • Residence in Eastern time zone preferred. 
  • Exposure to project management concepts through coursework or student organization leadership roles 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools and collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) 
  • Previous internship or work experience in technology, consulting, or professional services environments 
  • Interest in pursuing project management or information security career paths 

Qualifications and Differentiators
