The Technical Program Manager will be part of a Key Personnel team in support of DHS customer of UltraViolet's.
What You'll Do:
Provide a full development life cycle program to provide, but not limited to, project management, budget operations, strategic development, and tracking.
Use technical background to implement technology strategies and ensure effective delivery
Lead a team of network engineers and architects in supporting DHS
Knowledge of various Cloud Service Provider Offerings,
Developing roadmaps, implementing best practices, and designing repeatable processes.
Manage assessment of network tools, gather user requirements, define modules missing, determining the product advantages and disadvantages
Assisting and providing insight to DHS to ensure stewardship is accomplished and maintained
Identify and resolve risks, issues and dependencies
Identify internal and external dependencies
Perform research and development including and not limited to bake offs on products.
Update project information on the various SharePoint/JIRA/Confluence sites
Provide weekly status reports on the projects progress
Provide monthly invoices to include a summary page itemizing costs at the project level Program Management Report (PMR) monthly
What You've Done:
US Citizenship Required
Ability to pass DHS EOD & Suitability
15 years experience leading programs supporting network systems and infrastructure
with over 5,500 field sites, 2 or more datacenters/colocation facilities, and 250,000+ users.
Master Degree
Project Management Professional (PNP) certification - Active
Certified Cisco Network Professional (CCNP) certification - Active
ITILv4 certification - Active
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification - Active
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification – Active
Preferred qualifications:
15+ years supporting DHS LAN/WAN
10+ years supporting DHS System ATO and C&A activities
Experience supporting DHS St. Elizabeth Campus network
Experience leading network modernization projects for DHS
