Technical Program Manager

The Sr. Technical Program Manager (STPgM) owns the end-to-end delivery of complex, client-facing software programs. This role turns business strategy into reality, driving alignment across customer needs, product priorities, and technical delivery. The STPgM ensures every release is delivered on time, with quality, and measurable value, using industry-standard delivery metrics to manage performance, risk, and predictability. When projects falter, the STPgM moves fast—stabilizing red and yellow programs, restoring confidence, and driving outcomes. Up to 30% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Own program-level outcomes for multiple streams, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget, while aligning roadmaps with business objectives. 30%
• Lead cross-stream resource allocation, dependency management, and risk resolution to maintain predictable outcomes. 20%
• Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts, monitoring variance and ensuring profitability. 20%
• Provide consistent communication of program health, risks, and outcomes to senior stakeholders, translating technical challenges into business impact. 15%
• Ensure disciplined planning, estimation, and quality reviews across delivery teams. 10%
• Contribute to mentoring and developing project/program managers, improving delivery capability and accountability.

Qualifications

• · Advanced program management expertise across multiple delivery streams.
• · Strong financial acumen including forecasting, variance tracking, and profitability management.
• · Technical fluency in system integrations, data flows, and product usage to support credible client and
• stakeholder engagement.
• · Proficiency in risk identification, mitigation, and dependency resolution across programs.
• · Ability to translate technical details into clear business impact for senior audiences.
• · Strong communication, collaboration, and influence across business and technical functions.
• · Proven ability to mentor project managers, strengthening discipline and delivery practices.
