About Polygon Labs

Polygon Labs is a global blockchain payments company building and operating infrastructure to move money instantly, reliably, and at internet scale, with the mission to move all money onchain. It is building the Polygon Open Money Stack, an open and integrated stack of services and technologies to instantly and reliably move money anywhere, and put it to work. Its infrastructure has facilitated trillions of dollars in onchain value transfer and supported millions of transactions daily for some of the globe's largest banks, fintechs, enterprises, and consumer applications.

Your Role

As a Technical Program Manager embedded within the Open Money Stack initiative, you will play a critical role in enabling Polygon Labs to deliver scalable, reliable, and compliant fintech and payments infrastructure. Reporting to the Director of Technical Program Management, you will partner closely with engineering teams to bring complex, cross-functional programs from concept to launch.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where delivery predictability, clear technical coordination, and strong collaboration across internal and external stakeholders are essential. If you thrive in highly technical environments, enjoy working at the intersection of distributed systems and fintech, and want to help shape how open financial infrastructure is built and delivered, this role offers a unique opportunity to have a meaningful impact.

Your Responsibilities

You will own program execution for a major Open Money Stack initiative, supporting up to three engineering teams and coordinating across internal and external contributors. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving end-to-end program execution for Open Money Stack projects, ensuring delivery against agreed timelines, scope, and quality expectations

  • Planning and managing complex technical programs involving fintech and payment processing systems, infrastructure engineering, and third-party integrations

  • Coordinating dependencies and execution across multiple engineering teams, reducing delivery risk, and minimizing escalations

  • Partnering with internal engineering, product, and infrastructure stakeholders to align technical execution with strategic objectives

  • Supporting integration efforts with external infrastructure and fintech service providers, ensuring clear communication, sequencing, and accountability

  • Establishing and maintaining program plans, milestones, and reporting using existing TPM frameworks, tools, and methodologies

  • Identifying risks early and driving mitigation strategies to maintain delivery predictability across initiatives

  • Supporting successful launches by ensuring operational readiness, cross-team alignment, and clear ownership throughout execution

What You’ll Need

  • Significant experience as a Technical Program Manager supporting complex, multi-team engineering initiatives within fintech, payments, blockchain, or adjacent domains

  • Strong background working with distributed systems, protocol-level or infrastructure engineering teams

  • Proven experience running programs that involve external technical collaborators such as infrastructure providers or fintech service partners

  • Demonstrated ability to manage dependencies, risks, and delivery predictability across concurrent initiatives

  • Proficiency with program management methodologies and tools, paired with strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to adapt and execute effectively in fast-moving environments with evolving technical and program requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working directly on payment processing platforms or financial infrastructure systems

  • Familiarity with Ethereum-based systems or blockchain-enabled financial products

  • Program or project management certifications such as PgMP, PMP, or similar
