About the Role:

The Technical Program Manager will focus on partner integrations and cross-team coordination. This position involves the planning, execution, and governance of technical programs and launches with external partners. You will bridge gaps between engineering, product, operations, data, and partner stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule. You will manage partner onboarding, integrations, and testing—driving issue resolution to remove blockers and ensuring alignment and accountability across all parties.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Define and manage program roadmaps, milestones, and success criteria for partner integrations and related product initiatives
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to align on requirements, dependencies, timelines, and deliverables
  • Identifies dependencies, downstream impacts, risks, and resources needed throughout the development process
  • Lead partner onboarding, technical integrations, and launch readiness, ensuring minimal disruption to user experience
  • Manage test plans, run bug bashes, and oversee validation cycles to ensure all critical use cases are thoroughly tested before launch
  • Proactively drive issue resolution and systematically working to identify and remove blockers
  • Drive continuous improvement of alignment, communication, and support processes to strengthen long-term product success
  • Create and maintain documentation, training materials, and scalable onboarding resources for internal users and partners
  • Support partners by troubleshooting issues, managing escalations, and communicating updates clearly and promptly
  • Investigate and document feature requests and bugs, using sound judgment to escalate or prioritize where appropriate
  • Facilitate recurring syncs, status updates, and stakeholder reviews with clear agendas, notes, and action tracking
  • Continuously refine coordination workflows, playbooks, and best practices to improve team efficiency and partner collaboration
  • Monitor and report on performance, SLAs, and KPIs to inform ongoing improvements

Education & Experience 

  • 4+ years of experience supporting internal operations or program management in a technology-driven environment
  • 2+ years of experience writing and running SQL queries to support analysis and troubleshooting
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams on technical requirements and delivery
  • Experience with project management tools like Notion and Google Workspace, as well as development tools such as Shortcut or Linear

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
  • Must be able to frequently communicate with others through virtual meeting applications such as Zoom and Google Meet. 
  • Must be able to observe and communicate  information on company provided laptop. 
  • Move up to 10 pounds on occasion. 
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Starting pay for qualified applicants will depend on a combination of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is set forth below and this range may be modified in the future. 

The salary range for zone 1 (all states, excluding those in zone 2 or zone 3, and D.C.) is $109,700 - $117,800.

The salary range for zone 2 (CO, HI, MD, RI) is $120,700 - $129,600.

The salary range for zone 3 (AK, CA, CT, MA, NJ, NY, WA) is $126,200 - $135,500.

All zones are eligible for equity in the form of stock options.

Additionally, this position is eligible for the following benefits: company sponsored life insurance, disability and AD&D plans. Voluntary benefits such as 401k retirement, medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, dependent care and commuter/parking options are also available. Octave offers generous Paid Time Off as well as paid parental leave benefits.
