About the Role

The Technical Program Manager (TPM) plays a key role in bridging engineering, product, merchandising, and operations teams at Zenni Optical. Based in Shanghai, this role drives critical initiatives that connect digital product development, optical fulfillment, and commercial operations — ensuring projects are delivered on time, scalable, and aligned with customer and business goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Commercial Operations initiatives.
  • Translate merchandising and customer needs into actionable technical plans.
  • Coordinate across Engineering, UX, Creative, Lab Operations, and Customer Service teams.
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, and resources to ensure timely releases.
  • Partner with Legal/Compliance to ensure adherence to HIPAA, GDPR, and ADA standards.
  • Collaborate with external partners (Akeneo, Meta, ACP, Yotpo) on integrations and performance improvements.
  • Drive automation and efficiency initiatives for lab and customer service workflows.
  • Continuously enhance project delivery frameworks and KPI tracking systems. 

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of Technical Program Management experience or equivalent.
  • Proven track record in e-commerce, digital product, or consumer tech environments.
  • Strong technical understanding of web, app, and system integrations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin preferred.
  • Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
