Technical Product Manager (REF5125E)

TLDR

Drive technical product management and platform design decisions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and compliant technology solutions.

Core Responsibilities

  • Tanslate business/product requirements from  into clear technical specifications.
  • Own the technical backlog, feature definition and technical product roadmap
  • Work closely with IoT EA architecture, development, testing and operations teams.
  • Drive API, integration, data, and platform design decisions.
  • Ensure system scalability, reliability, security, and compliance (PSA)
  • Manage dependencies across teams and platforms.
  • Act as owner of Jira demands, support delivery through clarification and technical prioritization.
  • Align with Delivery manager on implementations, prioritization & planning
  • Align with Commercial PM on value, feasibility, and trade-offs, features
  • Own the technical product documentation
  • Train sales consultants and field application engineers (main contacts for the customers)
  • Support sales & customer project to translate customer requirements into technical requirements
  • Align with KEY suppliers on the product future, innovations, lifecycle & roadmap

Key requirements:

  • Several years of experience in technical product management or a similar senior role in complex software or platform environments
  • Strong ability to translate business and product requirements into clear, scalable technical specifications and architecture concepts
  • Deep understanding of system integrations, data architecture, and platform design
  • Solid knowledge of scalability, reliability, security, and compliance principles in enterprise systems
  • Experience working closely with architecture, development, testing, and operations teams in agile environments
  • Strong experience managing cross-team dependencies and technical prioritization
  • Ability to balance business value, technical feasibility, and delivery constraints in decision-making
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including collaboration with delivery managers, commercial product managers, and suppliers
  • Experience supporting customer projects and translating customer requirements into technical solutions
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is required
  • German language skills are a strong advantage
