The Presales Solutions Engineer is responsible for supporting the sales process by providing technical expertise and solutions to potential clients. This role involves understanding customer requirements, presenting the technical aspects of the product, and ensuring a smooth transition from the presales to the implementation phase.
The Presales & Customer Solutions Engineer is responsible for supporting the sales process by providing technical expertise and solutions to potential clients. The role is based in Riyadh onsite, so ideally you will already be based in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Consultation:
· Engage with prospective clients to understand their technical requirements and challenges.
· Provide detailed technical information and support throughout the sales cycle.
· Tailor CPaaS solutions to meet customer needs, ensuring alignment with their business goals.
Solution Design and Demonstration:
· Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations that highlight the capabilities and benefits of the SaaS/CPaaS solutions.
· Create proof-of-concept projects and custom demos to showcase the product's value.
· Assist in the design and architecture of solutions that integrate with the client's existing systems.
Collaboration with Sales and Product Teams:
· Work closely with sales representatives to develop effective sales strategies and proposals.
· Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and influence product development.
· Provide technical input for RFP/RFI responses and sales proposals.
Customer Engagement and Support:
· Act as a trusted technical advisor for clients during the sales process.
· Conduct technical workshops, webinars, and training sessions for customers and partners.
· Ensure a smooth handover from sales to the implementation team, ensuring all technical requirements are clearly documented and understood.
Market and Product Expertise:
· Stay updated with industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies in the SaaS and CPaaS space.
· Maintain a deep understanding of the company's product offerings, including features, benefits, and technical specifications.
Documentation and Reporting:
· Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution design documents, technical FAQs, and whitepapers.
· Provide regular reports on presales activities, customer feedback, and market trends.
· Required Skills and Qualifications:
Requirements
· Proficient knowledge of SaaS (Software as a Service) and CPaaS (Communication Platform as a Service) architectures, APIs, and integration methods.
· Extensive experience in crafting impactful use cases and customer journeys based on thorough business analysis and customer requirements.
· Comprehensive understanding of AI concepts and models, including various Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications.
· Strong presence and the ability to interface effectively with C-level executives and technical decision-makers to present and conduct complex demos, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and business-driven workshops.
· Demonstrated experience in creating high-level architecture designs, detailing solution building blocks and customer system integrations that lead to impactful business solutions.
· Proficiency in prompt engineering and programming/scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, and Java, as well as web technologies.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand and address client needs effectively.
· Proven experience in a technical presales or similar customer-facing role within the SaaS or CPaaS industry is a must
· Fluency in both English and Arabic.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Certification in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
· Experience with CRM and sales enablement tools
· Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
