Hertility was born out of a need for preventative, personalised and dedicated expert healthcare across a woman’s hormonal lifespan. Hertility’s at-home diagnostic testing, telemedicine, treatments, prescriptions, and clinical services provide advanced insights into reproductive health, fertility decline, and the onset of menopause, as well as the diagnosis of 18 conditions. Hertility reduces diagnosis times for some conditions from nine years to six days. 🚀
Having done over 22 clinical studies and published in leading scientific journals and presented at over 25 National and International scientific and clinical conferences, Hertility is committed to expanding its research and clinical programmes, deepening our understanding of reproductive health and influencing policy.
By setting a new standard of scientific rigour and education in women’s health, we’re nurturing the Mother of all Movements. One powered by a new generation of women backing themselves, their bodies and their life choices, from menstruation through menopause.
Why You’ll Love This Role ❤️
You will be a foundational engineering hire, securing the platform for our next stage of growth. You’ll balance the "need for speed" with the absolute necessity of security and stability in a healthcare environment. You won't just be managing a team; you’ll be a technical visionary working directly with the Head of Engineering, the Product and Design teams, the Data team, and Clinical leads to define what the future of women’s health-tech looks like.
Requirements
What You’ll Be Doing 🌟
While our Customer Pod builds the experience the world sees, the Ops Pod builds the sophisticated infrastructure that makes the revolution possible. As the Technical Lead for Ops Pod, you will lead the team responsible for our most complex internal systems: our Patient Management System (PMS), in-house telemedicine and video platforms, clinician management tools, and the intricate logistics engine behind our blood testing kits.
We are entering a new era of AI-driven healthcare. You will oversee the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) for automated clinical letter writing and call summarisation, as well as Machine Learning models for scan image analysis. This is a high-impact role where you ensure our clinical and ops teams have state-of-the-art tools to deliver care.
To be clear, we are not looking for experts in building ML models, rather the knowledge of how to incorporate them into a complex software system.

Hertility is a women’s health company built by women, for women. We’re shaping the future of reproductive healthcare by pioneering unique diagnostic testing that provides data-driven and advanced insights into reproductive health, fertility decline and the onset of menopause. We provide expert advice, education and access to care - all from the comfort of your home.31% of women will suffer from a reproductive health issue at some point and through our research, we aim to reduce the time to diagnosis through advanced at-home testing and specialist gynaecological care. We tailor pathways to the individual's reproductive goals, whether it be to explore their ovarian health and fertility options or overall hormonal health, such as confirming a PCOS diagnosis. Currently, we can diagnose 9 of the most common gynae pathologies which may lead to reduced fertility and signpost gynae cancers.Ultimately, our aim is to change attitudes around reproductive health, both for individuals and in the workplace, and to encourage women to be proactive by tracking their reproductive health. We’re calling this the Reproductive Revolution!
