Technical Lead ( Java )

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of high-quality Java applications while ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Collaborate closely with product management and stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business goals.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure coding quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java-based backend systems, microservices architecture, and MongoDB.
• Deep understanding of financial systems, payment services, and integrations (e.g., refund services, installment services, reconciliation).
• Experience with API gateway platforms (e.g., Software AG WebMethods) and asynchronous communication (Kafka).
• Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), DevOps practices, and scalable architecture.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of security and compliance, especially in financial services.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira).
• Experience with internal systems integrations and external Payment or Financial Technology partners
