About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to lead our growing team. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and be comfortable working in a very fast paced environment. Teamwork is key to coordinate customer-focused activities internally within the organization. This role requires you to be a self-starter with a strong bias for action.

A Day in The Life of Our Software Architect:

Contribute to evolving system architecture to meet business and customer needs
Successfully manage the daily challenges of a technical environment and guide the team in resolving technical issues.
Manage and drive complex technical projects from the planning stage through execution.
Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices and effectively manage the technical debt
Continuously increase team members technical knowledge via mentoring and training including obtaining the appropriate certifications

Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:

10+ years working on a commercial web platform tech stack
Proficiency in Node.js is a must have for this position
5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role, including experience taking a leading role in significant technical projects
2+ years experience in leading team of developers
Experience with a modern front-end framework (AngularJS)
Experience using Source Control such as Git, CVS or SubVersion.
Experience in relational database technologies such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, SQS/RabbitMQ, API Gateway).
Demonstrated experience building team culture and engineering processes, especially on high growth teams
Experience working in a scrum or agile development environment
Love of problem-solving and a demonstrable ability to self-start
Understanding concepts and usage of CI/CD practices
Strong communication skills
